Larry Sanders Show Getting Full DVD Release

For fans of The Larry Sanders Show, Gary Shandling’s revolutionary HBO comedy, it’s been a long wait to see many of the episodes on DVD. While a Best Of DVD is available, the first season is hard to track down and the other seasons are non-existent. You can watch some episodes from the first three seasons on Hulu, but that requires sitting in front of your computer. Well, thankfully, Shout! Factory has come to the rescue! After releasing the complete run of It’s Gary Shandling’s Show last year, Shout! has bought the rights to Larry Sanders for DVD release, which should come some time in September. Shout! is also planning a release of Norm McDonald’s show, The Norm Show, as well as cult sci-fi hit Max Headroom.
